With an elevation of 5,340 feet, Boulder has 3 art museums, 30 art galleries and over 300 restaurants featuring cuisine from around the world. There are over 200 miles of hiking and biking trails, including the 16 mile long Boulder Creek path that runs through the center of town. The climate is dry and mild with over 300 days of sunshine. However, the weather can change at any moment, so we recommend that you bring layers that you can add or remove for comfort, along with your favorite pair of walking shoes.
